Tomato Dosa Recipe:

In India every one must like dosa and have as a breakfast along with different types chutneys now-a-days people are getting bored to eat regular dosa’s so introduce lot of variety dosa’s like masala dosa, instant rava dosa etc. Tomato dosa is one of the variety it is quite different and also very simple process to cook, takes very less time. It experience a different taste and look, so kids are also like this recipe a lot without doing any noise or crying at the time of breakfast so i suggest this recipe to every mother for at least one day in a week and it is also healthy who are hate to have tomatoes can easily eat when you cook like this, also get nutrients to your children in this way you cook .

At the first time i ate this recipe in road side restaurant after my marriage i first heard that tomato dosa name after having i felt so tasty and experience a different taste later in my home i prepared this recipe and i get good taste and look , my husband also praised me alot. Here i mentioned very easy cooking process that’s why even beginners also can easily prepare. So all of you try this recipe and tell me your opinion.

Ingredients

  • 2 1/2 cup Dosa batter
  • 2 medium sized Tomatoes
  • 2 or 3 Green chilies
  • 1 1/2 inch piece Ginger
  • 1 tsp Cumin seeds

Preparation steps of Tomato Dosa Recipe

  1. Chop tomatoes , green chilies, ginger and keep aside . Now take a blender add all chopped ingredients into it grind well and make into a fine smooth paste.
  2. Now all of you know how to prepare dosa batter if you don’t know refer breakfast varieties page in this website. Mix tomato puree into the dosa batter stir it continuously for mixing puree completely in the dosa batter.
  3. Add cumin seeds mix it again. Heat tawa add oil spread it entire tawa now take a laddle full of dosa batter pour it at the middle of tawa and spread it to entire tawa in a circular motion by using laddle .
  4. Now pour oil around the dosa, once you observe dosa is cooked flip it to other side for cooking . Dosa is cooked well on both sides and it is ready to serve. It is good for having along with chutney or Karapodi as you wish.
